QA specialist main R&R:

o    Audits: Customer, 3rd Party, Supplier and Internal / Corporate Quality Audits – preparation, participation and execution. To ensure closure of audit report findings, to issue NCNs. Responsible for establishing and ensuring that RAs are implemented and CAs are taken within area of responsibility

o    Quality Plan and Quality Control Plan in accordance with industry and Customer’s requirements

o    To maintain approved suppliers in company QMS sourcing, Auditing, Process Qualification and final approval of local vendor performing critical & special processes

o    To ensure global compliance to company

o    Identifies and champions improvement through the analysis of non-conformance data, internal audits, external audits, supplier non-conformance, and customer complaints to ensure compliance with company procedures

o    Formulates, documents, and administers policies, procedures, and processes to enhance quality in place.

o    To regularly review industry and local legislation requirements and provide recommendations of changes to local/global procedures accordingly.

o    Measurement equipment support, metrological support

o    To work closely with the local Operations, Region QA Management on all aspect of the QMS. Advise & remind local management regarding customer QA/QC. To support OPS & AMO QA needs

o    Communicates and advocates the quality-related processes to employees, customers, auditors, and suppliers.

o    Staff trainings

o    To conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

o    Special projects and ad-hoc duties as required

Basic qualifications:

o    Degree qualified or equivalent

o    QA Auditor Qualification

o    Fluent English

o    Lead auditor qualification and Six Sigma green belt would be beneficial

o    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills

o    Demonstrated ability to write customer and management reports that are concise, and grammatically and structurally professional and sensitive to the intended audience.

o    Demonstrated ability and confidence to create and conduct presentations to customers and employees.

o    Use of continuous improvement process and tools to understand, investigate, consider, implement, and follow-up projects.

o    Ability to translate and communicate industry standard and specification requirements in a language appropriate for the culture and demographics of the organization.

o    Ability to lead training on quality-related issues including new-employee orientation and as-required to address changes in internal procedures and industry standards and specifications. 

o    A basic familiarity of SAP, good Excel and Access to acquire information needed to support written reports and presentations.

o    Knowledge of current trends and developments in QA, knowledge ofmanufacturing processes and practices

o    Knowledge of industry standards and specifications affecting Baker Hughes products and services would be beneficial

Experience:

o    Min 3 year experience in QA/QC

o    Experience in oil and gas industry would be beneficial

o    Experience of reviewing Customer QA requirements

o    Experience of conducting  audits (internal / external)

o    Continual improvement process experience

o    Understanding of ISO 9001 and API Q1 quality systems

o    Knowledge of continual improvement processes, knowledge of cause map / Ishikawa / 5 whys – tolls would be beneficial
